Behaviour

My attitudes towards student misbehaviour are summed up perfectly by the quote “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.

Attached is a behaviour management plan, which contains my philosophy on behaviour management, related theory and theorists including, Rudolph Dreikurs, William Glasser, Richard Curwin, Allen Mendler and Linda Albert as well as preventative and corrective actions related to student misbehaviour. Understanding student misbehaviour and how to deal with it will aid all teachers in becoming exemplary teachers.

Relating to students via their favourite sport, sporting team, sporting idol, or showing an interest in the activities that they participate in can go a long way.

Developing relationships!
