Relief Teaching Update

For the past few months I have undertaken a relief teaching role at government schools which I have found interesting, fun, but challenging at the same time. Not knowing the students, or seeing them everyday as a full time teacher does, makes getting the required behaviour and work out put a challenge at times.

Some students see it as a time for a break or to act up in class, however I have found if I take the class more than once over a period of time and learn student names, with the use of correct classroom management strategies, it makes the class run a lot smoother. Correct student behaviour and respect begins to shine through.
